How do I backup my MySQL database?
Backing up your MySQL database can be done in 2 ways:
(1) Using our backup tool – THE EASIEST AND RECOMMENDED WAY for Novice Users!1. Log into your FABI Hosting Control Panel Control Panel. To access your web hosting control panel by simply typing http://control-panel.(any domain) for example if your domain name is www.mycompanywebsite.co.uk then you would enter http://control-panel.mycompanywebsite.co.uk. (Check your WELCOME EMAIL from FABI Designs to confirm your HOSTING CONTROL PANEL username and password.)
2. Click on Web Tools.
3. Click to configure MySQL Databases.
4. Click ‘Now’ under backup database.
5. Save this file to your local machine.(2) Using phpMyAdmin – for more experienced users
1. Log into your FABI Hosting Control Panel Control Panel. To access your web hosting control panel by simply typing http://control-panel.(any domain) for example if your domain name is www.mycompanywebsite.co.uk then you would enter http://control-panel.mycompanywebsite.co.uk. (Check your WELCOME EMAIL from FABI Designs to confirm your HOSTING CONTROL PANEL username and password.)
2. Click on “MySQL Databases”.
3. Click on the “Manage” button for the database that you wish to back up, this will start PhpMyAdmin.
4. Go to the “Export” page, then complete the following steps:
1. Select all tables.
2. Select “Structure and data”.
3. Select “Add drop table” .
4. Select “Enclose table and field names with backquotes” .
5. Select “Save as file”.
6. Click the “Go” button.
7. You will be prompted to save the dump file on your computer. -
How do I back up my website files?
You should always ensure that you have a backup of your website on your own PC.
To do this you can download a zipped copy of your website direct from the FABI Designs / FABI Hosting Control Panel Control Panel.
Simply log into your FABI Hosting Control PaneL:
1. To access your web hosting control panel by simply typing http://control-panel.(any domain) for example if your domain name is www.mycompanywebsite.co.uk then you would enter http://control-panel.mycompanywebsite.co.uk. (Check your WELCOME EMAIL from FABI Designs to confirm your HOSTING CONTROL PANEL username and password.)
2. Select ‘Backup/Restore’ from the menu under the ‘Files’ section. From there you should select ‘Create Full Backup’. All you now need to do is to click the link and your website will be zipped up and you can save it to you hard disk.

How do I access my website email account?
You can access your webmail by using the following link http://www.outitgoes.com/. Bookmark this link for safe keeping. Your username and password would have been sent on your welcome email from fabi-hosting.
Webmail can also be accessed by clients by simply typing http://webmail.anydomain into a browser. For example if your domain name is www.mycompanywebsite.co.uk then you would enter http://webmail.mycompanywebsite.co.uk
Using webmail you can reply to clients with your professional email address from your domain name. You can also set up your email account to be used with outlook email client or Thunderbird email client for ease. Instructions for setting up Thunderbird client are contained in our FAQ too.
